chemicals free baby
Baby basics from bath products to creams to powders . Everything.........
I have always believed that you should avoid chemicals as much as you can on your baby. Not just because baby's skin is soft but also these chemicals can stimulate undesirable changes outside and inside of of the baby's body. here we are listing the baby things that you can easily manage without that extra doses of chemicals on your baby.
1.bathing time-use a mild soap and avoid using soap on babies face as you babies do not go out much so that is less dust on their skin and therefore water in itself is sufficient to clean their skin now you can use soap on alternate or once in two days on your baby's skin. Remember too much body wash shampoo or soap will dry out, darken and open pores in the baby s.before choosing soaps or body wash for your baby please read the, labels at the back very carefully the pH should be not lower than 5.5 and it should not have any parabens ,SlS or other harsh chemicals
2- dusting powder-as a word of caution please do remember do not use talcum powder on baby's body especially on baby's private parts or skin around the mouth or eyes. Talcum powder is made out of talc which is really hazardous to health and is found to be carcinogenic in nature in certain researches. Although it is completely avoidable to use powder on babies skin in but if you still want to ,t go for talc-less dusting powders.
Alternative of dusting powder
#Sandalwood powder
#Mixture of peels powder and licorice powder (particles of this mix should be very fine)
3. Massage oils-massaging babies is very essential as it it increases blood circulation decreases their body pain and makes them go to sleep easily. Now massaging oil could be a very tricky thing for your baby. You will have to see if any rashes or any kind of skin allergy appears you have to immediately stop using that oil and go for something natural or something with lesser chemicals. My personal favourites are pure almond oil, clarified butter which is slightly lukewarmed before massaging, virgin coconut oil comma virgin olive oil. Try to avoid medicated oils or oils that have a percentage of mineral oils also. In summers you can go for extra virgin or virgin coconut oil sometimes you can mix this coconut oil with little bit of camphor or neem leaves for little turmeric.(only one ingredients to be mixed at a time)
4. Creams and lotion-if you really want your baby to be healthy in future you should completely avoid any kind of creams or lotions that's manufactured in in pharma industries. Instead you can go for little bit drops of of the massage oils mentioned above. What if your persistent to use any e industry made product then please go for products with the pH not lower than 5.5 and of course mineral oil free ,SLS free, paraben free.
Alternative of creams
#Mix glycerine, rose water and milk cream
5. Baby foods-after you start of the weaning for the baby you should try to keep it simple , bland and home extract fresh fruit juices at home for your baby. Industry made baby food like cereals can be easily made at the convenience of your home. You can watch many tutorial videos for the recipe.avoid sugar and salt as much as you can.
6. Baby wipes- wipes are one such think that the nature totally hates. But even if you want to use one on your baby then you can easily make wipes at the convenience of your home. Take little amount of cotton stretch it into a thin sheet glycerin and coconut oil and your ready to go.And if you want to purchase it then please check if the wipe's are alcohol free or not.
Babies are a precious gift. They are soft, delicate and totally dependent on you. They can't say or judge what's right for them. Now it's our responsibility to do the best for them, taking care of their present and future health.Be natural. Nature is sufficient for the baby needs.
